About Marlene Kramer
Marlene Kramer has been educating students for 18 years. In that time, she has taught a range of courses: 3-D Design I, II, III, Advanced Placement 3-D, Advanced Placement Art History, Foundations of Art, Photo Digital Processes and Drawing I.
In 2000, Marlene earned her Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and in 2006 she earned a Masters in Art Education from Towson University. In 2008, she began writing curriculum and co-teaching the prestigious Anne Arundel County Gifted and Talented Visual Arts Program. In 2010, Marlene joined the ranks of the top 3% of all educators in the nation to earn National Board Certification. During the 2017-18 school year she was honored as one of the Top 5 Teachers of the Year in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. In 2018, she became the Art Department Chair.
Marlene is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently lives and works outside of Annapolis, Maryland.
